Make A Face
Transform a Life
At the Education Africa Gala Awards Dinner in 2009, we launched the Make a Face/Transform a Life campaign. This fundraising initiative in aid of Education Africa proved to be so successful that we decided to hold it again in 2010.
Internationally renowned personalities have designed and hand painted Venetian masks which are auctioned to raise funds for Education Africa's ongoing project work. Each mask is a unique, once-off piece of art. Personalities that have contributed their masterpieces to this campaign include the following:
Andre Agassi; Annie Lennox; Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu; Bjorn Borg; Cleo Rocos; Duncan Banntyne; Gary Player; Gloria Gaynor; James and Aisha Caan; Jude Law; Lewis Hamilton; Lily Cole; Lions Ambassadors; Lord Coe; Mel B; Paris Hilton; Piers Morgan; Sergio Garcia; Simon Cowell; Sir Bob Geldof; Sir Elton John and David Furnish; Sir Michael and Lady Shakira Caine; Sir Philip Green; Sir Stuart Rose; Stefi Graf; Sting; Terry Gilliam; Tim Henmann; Trudi Styler.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the following who assisted with the auctioning of the masks:
